Off and Running
It's becoming a Saturday tradition.
After (what seemed like) a very long stretch of time home with both boys, it was much needed. While there are many things I love about the large age gap between them, it also proves logistically difficult at certain moments.
I found time for a short walk by myself with my camera.
And spent a cold afternoon visiting with my parents.
I haven't lived there in over ten years but it still feels strange when I visit. It's exactly the same as when I left except that everything is different.
All this after days of cooking and visiting and company and entertaining and traveling.
Is it wrong of me to be relieved that school is back in session tomorrow morning?
