I've posted before about how thankful I am that the days are getting longer. Each and every additional precious minute of daylight brings me closer to complete liberation and bare feet. But it's all wool socks and mittens here for quite a while longer.
Jessica did a fun series of posts recently about surviving winter in New York and I need to take a few lessons from her. Staying inside and complaining about the cold short dark days certainly doesn't do anything for my mood. So I (try to) go outside as often as I can. Even if it's just for a short time and even if it's bitter cold. The sun on my back and the glory of the snowy landscape makes it difficult to feel grumpy — no matter how hard I try.
What do you do to get through the winter months?
